Kubrick 2001: The Space Odyssey Explained

If you are a fan of 2001: A Space Odyssey, this might interest you. 2001 is one of those few films you'll see in life with an obvious experiential theme. It has an undenied message hidden in a mysterious array of layers of cinematic genius. I've seen this film at least a dozen times throughout my lifetime and I'd read the book a few years ago. I really hadn't grasped what Clarke or Kubrick were trying to convey through the story.

My father sent me a link to a website which seems to explain the story (at least from Kubrick's perspective) in the most thorough manner I've seen so far. In a 4-part animation sequence, the key elements in the film are shown in true color. Most of my unanswered questions have been answered. Check it out at Kubrick2001.com
